Serving as primary teacher and headmistress of Yenovkian Academy, Melanie McCulley Yenovkian is a graduate of Clemson University, where she earned her B.S. in Economics (1989) as part of Clemson's Centennial Class and her MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation as part of the program's inaugural class (2013). Mrs. Yenovkian attended Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C., and received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law (1995). After passing the Virginia, Massachusetts, and South Carolina bar exams, she practiced general law as a law partner with the Late Honorable Terry Haskins and then prosecuted drug crimes in Greenville County, South Carolina. In addition to practicing law, she has authored two treatises for the South Carolina Bar: Drug Litigation in South Carolina and The Fourth Amendment: Search and Seizure Jurisprudence in South Carolina. She has been married to Donald Yenovkian II for 21 years. The two have been blessed with 6 daughters, including two sets of twins, whom Mrs. Yenovkian has taught since 2005.

Donald Yenovkian II is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) (1990), where he earned his B.A. in Economics. There, Mr. Yenovkian earned an A in Women's Studies. Little did he know at the time that he would eventually live in a house with 7 women. After graduating from Howard University School of Law (1994), he practiced law with the Department of Defense for nearly 15 years, earning the Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service, Meritorious Civilian Service Award, and Civilian Achievement Award. He spent five years with Fluor Corporation as Senior Counsel, and currently is General Counsel and Vice President of Contracts for First Nation Group. Over the course of his career, Mr. Yenovkian has resolved some of the most complex and highest amount in controversy government contact cases. He is an expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution and speaks and writes regularly on the topic. He travels the country and world as part of his employment, which allows Yenovkian Academy the freedom to travel with him. He has loved every job he ever had, especially being a dad, and he is committed to ensuring his children have the best education possible.
